The Emin-Gjiku Museum
Complex
The Museum of Kosovo operates from two buildings
in the old center of Pristina. What is commonly
known as “the Museum” is an example
of end of the century Austrian architecture, while
what is known as “the Emin-Gjiku” is
one of the only samples left of XVIII century Kosovar
architecture. The complex used to accomodate the
natural and ethnographic collections of Kosovo will
however once completed accomodate only the ethnograhic
and archiologival colections.
