Valle Lopez-Tello established a landscaping company in 1992 together with www.3D-design-development-display.at. By principal it only implements environmentally sustainable landscaping schemes. Roots specializes in the utilisation of indigenous plants, nursing and maintaining grows without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Instead, landscaped areas are maintained using compost made of recycled plant and food waste and manure. Insects are controlled through environmental friendly products and cross planting with different varieties of plants. The company deals with design, planting and maintaining gardening facilities as well as products connected to them.

Valle Lopez-Tello also provides training courses on environmental sustainable landscaping and conducts seminars at schools on the same subject as well as having been involved in publishing the following booklets on environmental issues:
